Liver & GB Flush 7 – Prep - March 23rd – 2009
I have begun my prep for this coming weekend’s Liver & GB Flush. I purchased a bottle of Malic Acid Pills today from the Homeopathic Pharmacy in Santa Monica. I’m taking slightly higher than the recommended dose of these 600 mg pills in place of the 32ozs of Apple Juice. They also had a great product there called Dissolve GS. It’s a Chinese Herbal Formula that helps to dissolve Gallstones. I’m going to take the recommended dose until Saturday, which is the day of the Flush. I’m also taking a Chanca Piedra Tincture. Chanca Piedra is a Spanish Herb that is from the Amazon. “Chanca Piedra” literally translates as “Stone Breaker”.
To help support my Liver, I am drinking one bottle of the Evolution Product “Carrot, Celery & Beet Juice” per day as well. Today, I had two bottles instead of just one. I’m taking a Liver Support Formula as well that contains the following ingredients: Dandelion, Artichoke, Beet, Milk Thistle, Turmeric & Goldenseal. Interesting looking capsules. You can see inside that the color of the contents is bright orange, probably due to the Turmeric.
I’m looking forward to doing another Flush. The prep is easy and it’s nice to not have to drink all that Apple Juice this time. I guess, to be honest, I’m actually looking forward to the results of the Flush. The Flush itself I’m not looking forward to at all. I don’t have anything planned for Sunday morning and I don’t have anything planned for Saturday evening either. The thing about doing these Flushes is that it kind of ruins your weekend. It’s going to be worth it though. The results of the previous Flushes have been pretty amazing. I wonder if the additional prep for this Flush will make it more or less of a success?
I ended up waiting a full month to do this Flush. I was planning to do the Flush this past weekend but had the opportunity to teach a Free Flow Class at Lululemon. The class was a great way to meet new students and to give back to the community and so I post-poned the Flush for a week. I think the extra week will give my Liver more time to heal and to adjust after the last Flush.
UPDATE:
Liver Flush – Sunday, March 29, 2009
It is 4:20am on Sunday, March 29th 2009. I did the Flush last night. This is Flush number 7. I felt quite good fasting yesterday and actually felt quite energized teaching my class last night at 5:30pm at Yogaworks. This past week I did more preparation than I have for any previous Flush. The Epsom Salts actually didn’t taste that bad last night and went down quite easily. I made a Castor Oil Pack last night and put it on the right side of my abdomen. I rubbed the oil in until it was almost dry and then placed a paper towel over this part of my stomach and placed a hot water bottle on top. I took the Flush drink, ¾ cup of Oliver Oil and ½ cup of Grapefruit Juice, at around 10:30pm last night. The Flush Drink was gross, which was expected. I didn’t immediately feel like I was going to vomit though. I lay down and focused on my Liver. There was a party in one of the apartments next door and I put earplugs in so that I wouldn’t be kept awake by the noise. I was pretty tired and went to sleep quite quickly. I slept until a few minutes ago. I feel a little tired now but I don’t feel terrible. My belly is quite bloated and when I got up to go pee a few minutes ago I felt nauseous and burped a few times. Those horrible Olive Oil and Grapefruit Juice burps that come with doing these Flushes are enough to make you nauseous. We’ll see how this morning goes. Hopefully this Liver Flush was as successful as the last ones!
UPDATE:
It’s 8am. I just took my second round of morning Epsom Salts. When I took the first one I forgot to rinse out the measuring cup and some of the Olive Oil and Grapefruit Juice was still left behind. Disgusting! Almost threw up right there! Had a B.M. before I took the second round of Epsom Salts. Very small. A little bit of fecal matter. Very dark brown in color and soft.
UPDATE:
It’s 9:45am. I decided to have a big glass of water and eat some Granola. I’m a little tired from lack of sleep last night. My eyesight feels improved though. Everything is very clear. It’s interesting how the more of these Flushes that I do, the more I begin to look for the same things happening each time. Things start to become familiar. My belly still feels quite full and I haven’t had a real B.M. yet this morning. I am hoping the Granola and water will start to move things alone shortly. I don’t like the bloated feeling that I have right now.
UPDATE:
It’s 10:00am. I just had my first B.M. No stones that I could tell. Was an actual B.M. Very dark in color. Very normal. Not the usual diarrhea with stones.
UPDATE:
It’s 10:20am. I just had another B.M. This one was watery like most are on the day after a Flush. Not a lot of feces. Mostly liquid. A few things that could be stones? Not too sure. Weird little blobs that were dark brown and had white tentacle looking things all over them. Strange.
UPDATE:
It’s 10:45am. I just had another B.M. A couple of small stones but mostly just a brown, oily liquid. Total stones so far: 2.
UPDATE:
It’s 11:05am. I just had another B.M. 8 stones. None of these were very big. The liquid coming out is very brown.
UPDATE:
It’s 11:15am. I just had another B.M. 2 more stones. Small stones. A very brown liquid coming out. There was a lot that just came out with this last B.M. I can feel my belly churning and things are starting to move.
UPDATE:
I had another B.M. at around 2pm. Still a lot of dark liquid. Much lighter but very few stones. I could see maybe 1 or 2 small ones. I don’t know if this is a good sign or a bad sign. I feel a little disappointed. It’s a lot of planning for the Flush and then it kind of ruins your Saturday night and most of your Sunday. I can’t possibly think that I am clear and free of stones yet. I think I might need to do the Colonic before my next Flush. I haven’t had to do this in the past but maybe the fact that my small and large intestine still had something inside had an affect on the stones having room to release. 14 stones have come out so far today and all have been very small. It’s a little disappointing. I wonder if some more will come out when I have my Colonic tomorrow? We’ll have to wait and see.
An interesting thing happened last night. I woke up very warm. I could feel the heat that was being released from my Liver. It affected my whole body. When I lay down again this morning my temp. went back to normal and I felt even a little on the cold side. It was probably even colder last night but I woke up very warm. Lots of heat must get burned off when the Liver releases so much bile.
My tongue today is a bright pink. My eyesight feels very clear. I’m a little tired though. Even if there wasn’t that many stones this time I think the Flush had a positive affect.
UPDATE:
It’s 8:30pm. I’m feeling a little bit gassy and bloated. I think the Colonic tomorrow will help a lot. I’m really tired from the lack of sleep last night and the overall energy drain of the Flush. I hope more stones come out with the Colonic tomorrow. I probably won’t ever know if they do or not but it would be nice to know that this Flush helped to clear more stones out.
UPDATE:
April 1st, 2009
I decided to do the Oil Therapy that Andreas Moritz recommends in his book this morning. It consists of taking a tablespoon of Oliver Oil and rinsing it in your mouth for 3-4 minutes and then repeating this process two more times. Afterwards you rinse your mouth with salt water and then brush your teeth and use the tongue scraper. The oil looks disgusting after the 3-4 minutes, when you spit it out. It’s supposed to remove all kinds of toxins from your blood and help to remove bacteria from your mouth. I didn’t notice anything right away but we’ll see if it is effective over time.
UPDATE:
It’s April 7, 2009. I’ve been doing the Oil Therapy every other day for the last week.
I have been experiencing what could be called a Gallstone attack, a dull sensation or pain right around my right lower ribs and upper abdomen for the last two days. It’s not extreme but definitely noticeable. I am wondering if the last Flush moved things forward and into the Main Bile Duct and this is why I am experiencing the Gallstone attacks. It’s a little worrisome. I will be doing another Flush in a week and a half. I hope that I don’t have too much pain or this doesn’t get worse between now and then. Maybe this is a positive sign that the last Flush was more successful than I thought. Maybe some stones were moved forward and some large stones that need to be Flushed out are ready to be Flushed out in a week and a half. Time will tell.
