Liver & GB Flush 8 – Prep – April 16th – 2009
I have begun my prep for this coming weekend’s Liver & GB Flush. I switched back to using the Organic Apple Juice to prepare this week instead of the Malic Acid tablets. I don’t think the Malic Acid tablets worked for me. I’m not too sure if it was because I used the Malic Acid tablets last time that the Flush wasn’t successful but it’s one variable that was different from the other Flushes and they were more successful.
I have been doing a Parasite Cleanse since I got back from India. I’m on the third round. I did 10 Days on and 5 Days off with a mixture of herbs from the Homeopathic Pharmacy. I switched this round to a product called ParaGone, which is a Parasite Cleansing Kit from Whole Foods. It has similar herbs in it that I was taking previously but also has some that are different. I read an interesting post online by somebody who has been doing Parasite Cleansing for years and they said it’s important to mix it up because the Parasites will adapt and grow stronger and some herbs help to kill some Parasites but have little or no effect on others. I feel very strange on the Cleanse. I’m experiencing some bloating and some minor discomfort. I don’t think it’s anything that is too extreme and so I’m going to continue with the Cleanse. I’m taking Triphala as well to help keep my B.M.’s regular. The Parasite Cleansing is causing me to be a little more constipated than usual. I added some fresh chopped garlic to the mix as well. I took about 4 Cloves two nights ago and 5 Cloves the night before that.
I’ve had weird night sweats and some Liver pain over the last few days. I don’t know if this is because of the Parasite Cleanse or because of Gallstones. My B.M.’s are very dark brown. There is what looks like it could be small white worm like things in the B.M. but I’m not too sure. It could be something else?
This week, in addition to all of the apple juice, I am taking a Carrot, Celery & Beet Juice once a day, leading up to the Flush on Saturday. Let’s hope this Flush is more of a success than the last one.
UPDATE:
It’s April 19th. I did the Liver and Gallbladder Flush last night. I fasted all day yesterday and I had a surprising amount of energy until late into the evening. I prepped all last week and was ready for the Flush. I took the Flush drink around 11pm. I was late taking my first round of Epsom Salts and this pushed everything back an hour.
I went to sleep last night almost immediately after taking the Flush drink. I think I have been so tired and stressed out from a busy and stressful week that I was exhausted. I kept thinking to myself as I lay down, “let go…let go…just let it go…”.
I woke up this morning around 3:30am and was up for about an hour to an hour and a half before I went back to sleep. I slept until a few minutes ago. It’s 7:00am right now. I just had my third dose of the Epsom salts. The Epsom salts is so hard to take. Each time I finish I am disgusted and almost vomit. I thought around 4am last night I would throw up. I felt very nauseous. I was surprised at how much sleep I did get last night though. I actually feel somewhat rested this morning. The Flush drink is getting harder and harder to take. I almost threw up immediately after drinking it down last night. I wonder how many more of these I will have to do before I go on a maintenance of once every six months?
I didn’t have a B.M. last night. I hope that this doesn’t have a negative impact on whether or not stones were able to move or not. I had a large B.M. early in the day and nothing to eat that would’ve been blocking the stones. I’m crossing my fingers. I hope this is a successful Flush!
UPDATE:
It’s 11am. I had a bowl of granola a moment ago and some tea. I haven’t had a B.M. yet this morning. I feel very bloated. I tried some light stretching but it hasn’t moved things along. I’m going to take another glass of water in a moment and maybe have some carrot juice.
UPDATE:
It’s 1:15pm. I just had my first B.M. of the day. I have been feeling so bloated up to this point. The B.M. was mostly a dark oily liquid and some fecal matter. I didn’t notice anything that looked like a stone but there were a few weird looking things. I wondered if they might be parasites of some kind but it was hard to tell.
UPDATE:
It’s 1:20pm. I just had another B.M. There were five small stones and some green things that I don’t think were actually stones but might be the oil and bile reacting together. There was also a whole bunch of undigested nuts or something that looks like undigested nuts! I haven’t eaten nuts in over a week. Gross! Lots of dark brown water. Very dark liquid.
UPDATE:
It’s 1:25pm. I just had another B.M. Lots of dark brown liquid. No stones. Lots of undigested nut things. Weird!
UPDATE:
It’s 8:41pm. I had a B.M. at 5:30pm. A few stones. Lots of liquid. I had another one at 6:00pm. A lot of liquid and no stones. I just had a small B.M. with some liquid and a small piece of feces that looked like a nest of worms or something. Really gross. I don’t know exactly what it was that just came out of me. Weird!
UPDATE:
It’s Monday, the day after the cleanse. I feel great! I had a wonderful sleep last night. I don’t know if it is due to the stagnation in the Liver, Parasites, or ?? that has been causing me to have trouble sleeping lately. Tons of energy today. My eyesight is incredible. It’s like somebody just gave me glasses. Amazing!
I had a B.M. this morning that was very soft and dark brown. No stones but it looks like I am starting to get back to regular digestion. I had another B.M. a moment ago. It’s still early. I just finished teaching a yoga class and it’s almost 10am right now. This second B.M. was also very soft but almost solid. Digestion is returning to normal.
I think I am going to spend the next three months Parasite Cleansing, Kidney Cleansing, Candida Cleansing and helping to support my Liver with more healthy green juices and whole food supplements. I will wait three months before the next Liver Flush.
To date I have now passed 481 stones. This past Flush I also passed some things that may or may not have been stones. They looked like nuts but I don’t remember eating anything that looked like them leading up to the Flush. Very Weird.
The majority of the stones that I passed since I began Flushing have ranged between the size of a small marble and a large grain of rice. They were black with a dark green hue to them. When I dissected a few of them they had an emerald green color on the inside. They were hard and rough looking. There were several that were as large as a quarter and at least four that were much larger than a quarter and looked like they were almost the size of a small golf ball. The largest of these stones, which was passed in one of my earliest Flushes had a small vein running through it and on it. Gross! I’ve read accounts online that these Flushes are a hoax and the things being passed aren’t stones at all and I don’t believe that the people writing these accounts have ever done a Liver Flush. Sometimes they assert that these “stones” that are passed are created when the bile comes into contact with the olive oil. Each Flush there are always a few green blobs that come out that I think are the result of this reaction. These are not the actual stones. I have not counted these as stones in my experience so far. I consulted my Doctor, who does not recommend the Liver Flushes to her clients and she confirmed that what I had passed were in fact Gallstones. She is now reading the book, “The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush”, which I recommended she check out.
I hope you’ve found this blog helpful so far. Good luck! Maybe this is the right thing for you and maybe it is not. This has been my experience so far. I’ll keep you posted with my continued cleansing and flushing experiences. More to come!

Liver Flush 7
Liver & GB Flush 7 – Prep - March 23rd – 2009
I have begun my prep for this coming weekend’s Liver & GB Flush. I purchased a bottle of Malic Acid Pills today from the Homeopathic Pharmacy in Santa Monica. I’m taking slightly higher than the recommended dose of these 600 mg pills in place of the 32ozs of Apple Juice. They also had a great product there called Dissolve GS. It’s a Chinese Herbal Formula that helps to dissolve Gallstones. I’m going to take the recommended dose until Saturday, which is the day of the Flush. I’m also taking a Chanca Piedra Tincture. Chanca Piedra is a Spanish Herb that is from the Amazon. “Chanca Piedra” literally translates as “Stone Breaker”.
To help support my Liver, I am drinking one bottle of the Evolution Product “Carrot, Celery & Beet Juice” per day as well. Today, I had two bottles instead of just one. I’m taking a Liver Support Formula as well that contains the following ingredients: Dandelion, Artichoke, Beet, Milk Thistle, Turmeric & Goldenseal. Interesting looking capsules. You can see inside that the color of the contents is bright orange, probably due to the Turmeric.
I’m looking forward to doing another Flush. The prep is easy and it’s nice to not have to drink all that Apple Juice this time. I guess, to be honest, I’m actually looking forward to the results of the Flush. The Flush itself I’m not looking forward to at all. I don’t have anything planned for Sunday morning and I don’t have anything planned for Saturday evening either. The thing about doing these Flushes is that it kind of ruins your weekend. It’s going to be worth it though. The results of the previous Flushes have been pretty amazing. I wonder if the additional prep for this Flush will make it more or less of a success?
I ended up waiting a full month to do this Flush. I was planning to do the Flush this past weekend but had the opportunity to teach a Free Flow Class at Lululemon. The class was a great way to meet new students and to give back to the community and so I post-poned the Flush for a week. I think the extra week will give my Liver more time to heal and to adjust after the last Flush.
UPDATE:
Liver Flush – Sunday, March 29, 2009
It is 4:20am on Sunday, March 29th 2009. I did the Flush last night. This is Flush number 7. I felt quite good fasting yesterday and actually felt quite energized teaching my class last night at 5:30pm at Yogaworks. This past week I did more preparation than I have for any previous Flush. The Epsom Salts actually didn’t taste that bad last night and went down quite easily. I made a Castor Oil Pack last night and put it on the right side of my abdomen. I rubbed the oil in until it was almost dry and then placed a paper towel over this part of my stomach and placed a hot water bottle on top. I took the Flush drink, ¾ cup of Oliver Oil and ½ cup of Grapefruit Juice, at around 10:30pm last night. The Flush Drink was gross, which was expected. I didn’t immediately feel like I was going to vomit though. I lay down and focused on my Liver. There was a party in one of the apartments next door and I put earplugs in so that I wouldn’t be kept awake by the noise. I was pretty tired and went to sleep quite quickly. I slept until a few minutes ago. I feel a little tired now but I don’t feel terrible. My belly is quite bloated and when I got up to go pee a few minutes ago I felt nauseous and burped a few times. Those horrible Olive Oil and Grapefruit Juice burps that come with doing these Flushes are enough to make you nauseous. We’ll see how this morning goes. Hopefully this Liver Flush was as successful as the last ones!
UPDATE:
It’s 8am. I just took my second round of morning Epsom Salts. When I took the first one I forgot to rinse out the measuring cup and some of the Olive Oil and Grapefruit Juice was still left behind. Disgusting! Almost threw up right there! Had a B.M. before I took the second round of Epsom Salts. Very small. A little bit of fecal matter. Very dark brown in color and soft.
UPDATE:
It’s 9:45am. I decided to have a big glass of water and eat some Granola. I’m a little tired from lack of sleep last night. My eyesight feels improved though. Everything is very clear. It’s interesting how the more of these Flushes that I do, the more I begin to look for the same things happening each time. Things start to become familiar. My belly still feels quite full and I haven’t had a real B.M. yet this morning. I am hoping the Granola and water will start to move things alone shortly. I don’t like the bloated feeling that I have right now.
UPDATE:
It’s 10:00am. I just had my first B.M. No stones that I could tell. Was an actual B.M. Very dark in color. Very normal. Not the usual diarrhea with stones.
UPDATE:
It’s 10:20am. I just had another B.M. This one was watery like most are on the day after a Flush. Not a lot of feces. Mostly liquid. A few things that could be stones? Not too sure. Weird little blobs that were dark brown and had white tentacle looking things all over them. Strange.
UPDATE:
It’s 10:45am. I just had another B.M. A couple of small stones but mostly just a brown, oily liquid. Total stones so far: 2.
UPDATE:
It’s 11:05am. I just had another B.M. 8 stones. None of these were very big. The liquid coming out is very brown.
UPDATE:
It’s 11:15am. I just had another B.M. 2 more stones. Small stones. A very brown liquid coming out. There was a lot that just came out with this last B.M. I can feel my belly churning and things are starting to move.
UPDATE:
I had another B.M. at around 2pm. Still a lot of dark liquid. Much lighter but very few stones. I could see maybe 1 or 2 small ones. I don’t know if this is a good sign or a bad sign. I feel a little disappointed. It’s a lot of planning for the Flush and then it kind of ruins your Saturday night and most of your Sunday. I can’t possibly think that I am clear and free of stones yet. I think I might need to do the Colonic before my next Flush. I haven’t had to do this in the past but maybe the fact that my small and large intestine still had something inside had an affect on the stones having room to release. 14 stones have come out so far today and all have been very small. It’s a little disappointing. I wonder if some more will come out when I have my Colonic tomorrow? We’ll have to wait and see.
An interesting thing happened last night. I woke up very warm. I could feel the heat that was being released from my Liver. It affected my whole body. When I lay down again this morning my temp. went back to normal and I felt even a little on the cold side. It was probably even colder last night but I woke up very warm. Lots of heat must get burned off when the Liver releases so much bile.
My tongue today is a bright pink. My eyesight feels very clear. I’m a little tired though. Even if there wasn’t that many stones this time I think the Flush had a positive affect.
UPDATE:
It’s 8:30pm. I’m feeling a little bit gassy and bloated. I think the Colonic tomorrow will help a lot. I’m really tired from the lack of sleep last night and the overall energy drain of the Flush. I hope more stones come out with the Colonic tomorrow. I probably won’t ever know if they do or not but it would be nice to know that this Flush helped to clear more stones out.
UPDATE:
April 1st, 2009
I decided to do the Oil Therapy that Andreas Moritz recommends in his book this morning. It consists of taking a tablespoon of Oliver Oil and rinsing it in your mouth for 3-4 minutes and then repeating this process two more times. Afterwards you rinse your mouth with salt water and then brush your teeth and use the tongue scraper. The oil looks disgusting after the 3-4 minutes, when you spit it out. It’s supposed to remove all kinds of toxins from your blood and help to remove bacteria from your mouth. I didn’t notice anything right away but we’ll see if it is effective over time.
UPDATE:
It’s April 7, 2009. I’ve been doing the Oil Therapy every other day for the last week.
I have been experiencing what could be called a Gallstone attack, a dull sensation or pain right around my right lower ribs and upper abdomen for the last two days. It’s not extreme but definitely noticeable. I am wondering if the last Flush moved things forward and into the Main Bile Duct and this is why I am experiencing the Gallstone attacks. It’s a little worrisome. I will be doing another Flush in a week and a half. I hope that I don’t have too much pain or this doesn’t get worse between now and then. Maybe this is a positive sign that the last Flush was more successful than I thought. Maybe some stones were moved forward and some large stones that need to be Flushed out are ready to be Flushed out in a week and a half. Time will tell.
I have begun my prep for this coming weekend’s Liver & GB Flush. I purchased a bottle of Malic Acid Pills today from the Homeopathic Pharmacy in Santa Monica. Liver Flush 6
Liver & GB Flush 6 – March 1st – 2009
It is 6am on Sunday morning. I didn’t have a good sleep last night. I haven’t been sleeping well since my return from India. I’m still quite jetlagged. I am half way through my first Parasite Cleanse 10 Day On Cycle. My tongue is a yellowish white color and I think it is because of all of the herbs that I am taking to kill the Parasites.
I prepared for the Flush this passed week and did the Flush last night. Due to the fasting, I felt a little irritable yesterday, and I could feel my Liver begin to have a Gallstone Attack around 7pm last night. This was expected and similar to the last Flush. The Flush drink last night, which consisted of ½ cup of grapefruit juice and ¾ cup of olive oil was really disgusting. I was anticipating how terrible the whole experience was going to be but it didn’t make it any better. Last night was one of the worst nights yet!
I thought I was going to throw up several times and it took a lot of will power to stop myself from vomiting. This morning I feel very bloated. I have been up since around 3am. Not sleeping fully through the nights because of the jetlag and/or the Parasites.
I decided to try adding a Castor Oil Pack and hot water bottle to my belly and liver area last night for the first 20 minutes after the Flush and before I went to sleep. I don’t know if it will have helped to move things along or not. I didn’t hear the usual sounds or feel the usual movement in my belly right after taking the Flush drink and lying down. I don’t know if this is a good sign or a bad sign. I had some gas this morning. I have been burping a little. The burping is terrible. I can taste the olive oil and it almost makes me gag.
I’m going to take the first morning Epsom salts in a few minutes. I didn’t have a Bowel Movement last night, so I don’t know if that will have an affect on how effective this Flush is going to be.
UPDATE:
It’s 9:45am. I just had a very small bowl of granola and a piece of toast with jam. It felt good to eat something. I had my first B.M. a moment ago. I passed a couple of solid pieces of feces. It looked like there were a few worm like things in the feces and there was a piece of something that I thought might be a tape worm? Not sure. I could be just paranoid because I’ve heard so much about parasites and how most people who return from India have something. I am going to go online and see if the Parasite Cleanse that I am doing will help get rid of a tapeworm. I hope so!
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. It’s 10:22am. 15 large pea sized stones came out with some brown liquid and some undigested carrots. There were 25 smaller stones as well. The stones were all very dark green. The larger stones were oddly shaped, like they’d been lodged in my Liver or Gallbladder for some time.
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. It’s 10:35am. I passed 30 stones in total. There were 15 large pea sized stones and 15 smaller ones. A couple of the larger stones were really LARGE, one of them approaching the size of a quarter. I decided to take six of them out and photograph them on white paper. The stones were all very dark green and black in color and were very hard.
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. It’s 11am. I passed 40 more stones. There were 25 large pea sized ones this time. I took another photo. This brings the total so far for this Flush to 110!
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. It’s 11:26am. I passed 20 more stones with lots of liquid. The liquid is mostly a brownish color.
UPDATE:
I had another B.M. and then two more that could barely be called a B.M. at all. It’s 8:40pm and I’m getting ready for bed. I feel a little bloated. I’ve eaten quite a bit today but haven’t had any real solid stool come out of me yet. The last series of B.M.’s yielded 23 stones. There were 20 stones in the first one and then 1 and then 2. Everything is still brown and watery. Nothing I have eaten is working it’s way through me yet.
The total number of stones for this Flush has been 133!
The total number of stones since I began Flushing has been 457!
Liver Flush 5
Liver & GB Flush 5 – January 18th – 2009
I am in the middle of another Flush. I re-read part of Andreas Moritz’s book yesterday. I wanted to refresh myself on the Chapter on the Flush itself. This has been the best prepped I have been for a Flush so far. I didn’t eliminate fatty or high protein foods for the 6 days leading up to the Flush. I wonder if this will have any affect on my success. I think I need to get more essential fatty acids in my diet and I’m going to start taking some oil supplement on a regular basis with each meal. I have felt better recently when I had meals with protein and/or fat and not as well with meals that were very low in both. I eased off on protein on the final day of my preparation for the Flush. On Day 7, the actual Flush day, I only had oatmeal and toast with jam for breakfast and then fasted until the Flush.
It’s about 9:30am right now. I’ve had all of my Epsom salts. Last night was a rough night! I felt so terrible after taking the last dose of Epsom salts and then the Flush drink itself. I had a very restless sleep, waking up at 2am, and then again at 4am, and then finally dozed off until almost 7am. I forced myself to get up and take another dose of the Epsom salts. This Flush has been quite difficult. I have really felt terrible and I feel quite ill today. The last dose of Epsom salts almost made me vomit.
UPDATE:
I’ve had two watery B.M.’s this morning already, which is interesting. On the other Flushes it wasn’t until I started to eat later in the day that things started to move. The second B.M. yielded 4, small rice sized stones. We’ll see what comes out as the day goes on. I’m looking forward to eating something soon. I’ll wait another hour and then introduce some water and juice into my system.
UPDATE:
It’s 10am. Just had two B.M.’s pretty close together. The first one had 36 stones in it. Mostly small pea sized stones and many small rice sized stones. None were bigger than a medium sized pea. The second one had 16 stones in it and some completely undigested nuts, or what looked like undigested nuts. Weird! That brings the total to 56 so far.
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. and it is 10:15am. I passed 24 more stones! There were about 8 that were pea sized, some more that were medium sized, and one or two approaching the size of small marbles. The rest were small rice sized ones.
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. It’s 10:20am. I passed 20 more stones. I also passed a few more undigested nuts as well. Maybe these things aren’t nuts? I don’t even remember when I had nuts last? Weird!
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. It’s 10:47am. I also just ate some granola and almond milk and had a glass of water. Feels better to begin the digestion process again. There weren’t a lot of stones with this last B.M., only 7 and they were mostly small. The total is now a little over 100 at 107. I have had 7 Bowel Movements this morning. My anus is starting to burn a little. It’s nothing like the first Flush that I did though.
My eyesight is really clear. My energy is also surprisingly good in spite of the fact that I had such a lousy sleep. My belly still feels bloated though and my body feels weak.
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. I passed 30 stones, ranging in size from small rice like ones to small pea-sized ones. Only 6 were the pea sized ones. My Bowel Movements are very watery. Lots of clear liquid coming out with the stones.
I had lunch at Urth CaffĂ©. I had a salad after I had already had a muffin at the farmer’s market. I also had two slices of toast with jam and some granola with almond milk before that for breakfast. I decided to take some digestive enzymes to help ease back into things. I took three pills. I think I will take a Dr. Schultze’s Super Food in about an hour or so. I’m starting to get really tired. Need a bit of a nap. It’s beautiful outside but I don’t feel like doing anything. I’m pretty weak from the Flush. Need to rest.
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. It’s 2:30pm. About 12 more stones this time. None of these stones were very big.
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. It’s 3:15pm. I passed 8 more stones. There was one really big one. It wasn’t the biggest ever but it was larger than a marble and long and odd shaped. Three others were the size of large peas and there were four smaller ones. It feels so good to know I am cleaning out my body and these things are no longer just sitting in my Liver and Gallbladder clogging things up. Total count for this flush is now 157!
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. It’s 4:15pm. I passed 8 more Gallstones. These ones were all pretty medium to large sized. There were two large marble-sized stones and a few smaller ones. This brings the total to 185!
UPDATE:
I just had another B.M. No stones this time. It’s 7pm. I think this might be it. We shall see though.
UPDATE:
I had a B.M. in the middle of the night. I passed two stones. My Bowel Movements are still very watery.
UPATE:
I woke up and had a B.M. this morning right after getting up. There were lots of weird looking things in this Bowel Movement that might be stones? These things looked a little freaky. There were a couple of hard white stone or nut looking things. They were kind of big. This brings total to 190 for this Flush! Incredible!
Now it’s time to wait and let the Liver heal. The next Flush will be when I return from India. I have passed a total of 324 Gallstones since I began Flushing!

Liver Flush 4
Liver & GB Flush 4 - December 29th – 2008
My family doesn’t totally understand why I’m doing the Liver & Gallbladder Flushes. My mom is especially upset that I’ve chosen to do the Flushes over Christmas. I don’t think she understands how worried I am about my Liver and how convinced I am that these Flushes are helping a lot. (Get ready to have a lot of people think you are nuts if you try one of these Liver & Gallbladder Flushes.)
I decided to do this Flush without waiting the allotted 3 weeks because I was again experiencing Liver & Gallbladder Attacks and I think I might have moved things forward on the last Flush but I didn’t release the Gallstones that I might have moved forward.
It’s 7am. The day after my 4th Flush. I didn’t have a great sleep last night. I never sleep well doing the Flushes. I always feel a little nauseous and bloated the whole night. I woke up last night several times, feeling very hot, like I had a fever. I woke up this morning very early, at 5am. I didn’t have a Bowel Movement right away. I waited until 6am to have the first morning dose of Epsom Salts. I had my first Bowel Movement shortly after that. Some fecal matter came out. I hadn’t had a Bowel Movement the night before and I didn’t do a Colonic to prepare for this Flush, so this wasn’t surprising. I didn’t see any stones with the first Bowel Movement, just some oily like substance, feces, and brown liquid.
UPDATE:
I just had my second Bowel Movement of the morning. 3 stones came out! One large pea sized stone and two smaller rice sized stones. The liquid that came out was a dark brownish-green color. More to come!
UPDATE:
Just went again. It’s 9:20am. I had a glass of Grapefruit juice and that must have started things moving along. I also had some light food. I passed 11 stones this time! Four larger pea shaped stones and several smaller ones. This puts the total for this Flush at 14 so far. More to come!
UPDATE:
Just went again. 10 more stones! A couple of big pea or marble sized ones and several smaller ones like little grains of rice. These stones were very dark green in color. The rest of what came out was a brownish liquid.
UPDATE:
Just went again. 3 more tiny stones. Total to 27 now for this Flush.
UPDATE:
Just went again. It’s 9:43am. 3 more stones. One VERY BIG! Probably about an inch in diameter and the same width and depth. I am SHOCKED at how big this stone is. It looks like a giant marble. It is dark black with a slight green coloring to it. Along with this GIANT stone there was also a white stone. This looked like a nut of some sort. Very weird. I don’t know if it is actually a stone or not. The size of the one stone has really blown me away. I feel very emotional. I’m realizing that through my ignorance, my poor diet for years, I have been hurting my body and I have allowed this THING to build up and grow inside of me. The total is now 30 for this Flush. Wow!
UPDATE:
Just went again. I passed 8 smaller stones. There is nothing but a clear liquid coming out with the stones now.
UPDATE:
I just passed 6 more stones. A couple of larger pea sized ones and then smaller ones. There was another white looking thing that might have been another stone but I’m not too sure. The total number of stones so far is 36!
UPDATE:
I just had another Bowel Movement. I passed 9 more stones. One of them was quite big. It was about the size of a small marble. I was curious to see what this one looked like on the inside. I decided to take it out of the toilet and cut it open. Amazing! On the inside the stone is a bright Emerald green. It’s pretty hard and solid. I think I need to try the Apple Juice or Malic Acid Pills to help soften the stones for my next Flush.
I read the Andreas Moritz book before this last Flush and it is amazing and filled with some great information. I highly recommend it. If you don’t own it, buy it!
UPDATE:
I just had another Bowel Movement. I passed 14 stones. Mostly all little rice sized. This brings the total to 59 stones.
UPDATE:
I just had another Bowel Movement. I passed 8 more stones. One big pea sized stone and several smaller ones. The total for this Flush is now 67 stones.
UPDATE:
I just passed 3 more stones. These were all little ones. There was also some crystal-like substance floating on the surface of the water in the toilet bowl.
UPDATE:
I just passed 10 more stones. These ones were all very small. They were almost hard to notice in the toilet. I think this might be the end of what will come out with this Flush. This brings the total to 80 stones for this Flush.
UPDATE:
I have just returned from Ojai, where I was attending a yoga and meditation retreat. It was amazing! The Flush I have documented above was finishing the day I left L.A. and arrived in Ojai. I took a moment on the retreat to write about the last day as more Gallstones continued to come out in my Bowel Movements, even though I thought I had Flushed everything out for this Flush.
I continued to have several Bowel Movements throughout the day when I arrived in Ojai. A total of 7 more stones came out. There was nothing solid, just a clear liquid coming out with the stones during these Bowel Movements.
The food on the retreat was fantastic! It was mostly vegan. I didn’t have a BM the day after the Flush. I wasn’t too sure if it was the transition back to normal food after a day of fasting and purging or if the food didn’t have as much fiber in it as I am used to. I don’t think that can be the case as we had so much salad. I had lots of gas after the Flush though and I felt pretty bloated the next two days. I’m still not too sure if the gas is caused because my Liver is empty of bile and needs time to replenish so food is not being digested properly, or if the gas is caused by the small and large intestines being empty and then suddenly refilling as food is introduced again? I think it might be a combination of both.
The total number of stones I passed on this last Flush was 87.
The Colonic before the previous Flush didn’t seem to help and maybe was even too much for my system, even though it is recommended by Andreas Moritz. I didn’t have a Colonic as part of my preparation for this Flush. Not having one this time didn’t seem to hinder the results as this appears to be the most successful Flush yet. I think the Colonic after the Flush is a great idea though.
It’s December 31st. I had my first post flush BM today. A large black/green stone was passed with the feces. This was one of the biggest stones yet. It wasn’t quite the size of a golf ball but definitely was the size of a large marble, a really LARGE marble. I’m not sure if any additional stones passed with the feces in this BM, or if there are any other stones lodged in the intestine waiting to come out. A Colonic after doing each Flush is a must!
This brings the total for this cleanse to 88 stones. I am on the way to better health! I am going to wait approx. 2 weeks for the next Flush and prepare for the Flush with Apple Juice. I think the 2 weeks will give my Liver time to heal and to recover from all of the Flushing I have been doing over the past three weeks.
UPDATE:
I have started taking the herb Chanca Piedra now three times a day. I am taking three times the dose that is recommended for maintenance. I am doing a Kidney Cleanse. It’s the one from Whole Foods. All that is needed for the Cleanse has been put into two types of pills – a morning and an evening pill. You do the Cleanse for 30 days. I will likely get about 25 days before I leave on my trip to India.

Liver Flush 3
Liver & GB Flush 3 - December 24th – 2008
It has been 10 days since my 1st & 2nd Liver & GB Flush.
I did another Liver Gallbladder Flush last night. I fasted all day yesterday and had a Colonic at 12:30pm. I took almost a cup of Olive Oil last night, mixed with fresh squeezed Lemon and Orange Juice.
It’s 9:46am. I just had my second meeting with the toilet and have had only liquid so far coming out. It’s very brown but very much like water. I didn’t pass any Gallstones the first Bowel Movement. This last Bowel Movement I passed what looked like one large Gallstone. It was jagged and could be at least partially responsible for the discomfort I have been feeling the last few days.
I decided to do this Flush early. You are only supposed to Flush every 3 or 4 weeks to give the Liver a chance to heal and readjust. Imagine that you are performing surgery on your Liver. You are removing all kinds of debris that was in the Liver and the Liver has to now get used to all the new space that you have helped to create by removing the Gallstones and also to heal and regenerate itself. I read some feedback online after I began to feel several “Gallstone Attacks” and the advice was to Flush right away and not to wait in case a large Gallstone has moved into the Common Bile Duct and is stuck. That is what could be causing the “Attacks”.
The Gallstone I just passed was about half an inch across by almost an inch in length. It was somewhat flat-like. I was a little blown away at how big it was and stared at it in the toilet for a while after I had gone to the bathroom.
We'll see what happens as I continue to visit the toilet this morning. Last night was a pretty rough night. I definitely don't sleep well on these Flush nights. I am really looking forward to a healthier and cleaner Liver and Gallbladder though.
More to come!
Update:
Round three on the toilet! Two more stones and lots of dark brownish greenish colored water. One stone was pea sized and the other was rice sized.
Let's hope we get more to come!
Update:
No more stones came out during this Flush. I’m a little disappointed but I feel better. I’m glad the large stone was passed. I don’t have any more feelings of pain in my Liver & Gallbladder region.

Liver Flush 1 & 2
Liver & GB Flush 1 & 2 - December 14th – 2008
This is the story of how I began Liver Flushing as part of my cleansing regimen and the details of each of my Liver Flushes from when I began.
I went to the Doctor for a blood test on November 21st, 2008. My Acupuncturist said that she thought I was looking a little bit Jaundiced and wanted to make sure that everything was okay with my Liver. I have been feeling a lot of fatigue lately and very stiff and sore. My energy level has been low. I’ve been experiencing, for several months now, a dull pain in my lower right ribs. My digestion has been fine but I’ve noticed that my stool is a very light brown color and sometimes almost borderlines on being gray.
When my blood test came back I learned that I have elevated Bilirubin in my blood. My Bilirubin is 2.8. That is more than 3 times what it is supposed to be. My Albumin/Globulin Ratio is also high. It is 2.2. That is just slightly out of range but because the range is so broad it could be as high as more than 2 times what it is supposed to be. The rest of my blood work showed that I am very healthy.
I freaked out a little when I got the blood test. My Doctor was a little confused because I seemed so healthy. She said that I might have Gallstones in my Gallbladder. She recommended that I get an Ultra Sound Scan to see.
I started to do my own research about Bilirubin and about Liver stagnation and Gallstones in the Liver & Gallbladder. I found an incredible about of information online. I also started to talk to my friends and other health care professionals who I know who work in alternative healing and medicine. I learned about a book by Andreas Moritz, called “The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush”. I ordered the book from amazon.com.
I was getting a Colonic a few days after my follow up appointment with my Doctor and I asked my friend Aruna, the owner of Colonix Colon Care, if she knew anything about Liver Flushing. I told her about my recent blood work and the results. She said that she had done several Flushes and she recommended the Andreas Moritz book. A lot of people were pointing me toward this book. I told her I had already ordered it from amazon.com. She gave me a flyer that was in her office that had come from one of Dr. Schultz’s Liver Cleansing Kits. I read the flyer while I waited for my appointment with her.
The more I read about the Liver & Gallbladder and Liver & Gallbladder Flushing, the more I felt that I was a prime candidate for someone who has Gallstones. I had a number of the symptoms that were listed that were probably the result of Gallstones in my Liver and Gallbladder. Gallstones in the Liver and Gallbladder obstruct the flow of bile and inhibit the Liver from doing it’s job of cleaning the blood and aiding in digestion and regulating the many endocrine systems of the body. I learned as I continued my research just how important the Liver is to our body.
In all of the material that I came across and in several discussions with a few different professionals in different fields of health and wellness I learned that the Liver is THE essential organ in the body, the MOST important organ in the body, the ORGAN that you don’t want to ever have a problem with. This was exciting for me to learn but it was also a little bit scary, as this WAS the ORGAN that I was having a problem with.
Liver & Gallbladder Flush 1
I decided to do the Dr. Schulze Liver & Gallbladder Flush while I waited for the Andreas Moritz book to arrive. The Dr. Schultze Store in Marina Del Rey is near where I live. I picked up the Liver Cleansing/Flushing Kit.
The Dr. Schulze’s Flush is a Five Day Flush. It involves diet recommendations and limitations and comes with a mixture of herbs to help with the cleansing of the Liver as well as instructions on how to create a “Flush Drink”.
The Dr. Schultze Flush is divided into a day of preparation, three days of Flushing the Liver with the Flush drink and a fifth day for recovery. The Dr. Schultze Flush drink is composed of garlic, ginger, olive oil and freshly squeezed juice. For more information about Dr. Schultze and his Liver Flush Kit visit: www.drschulze.com.
I felt great during the five days I was doing the Flush. It might have been what Western medicine refers to as the “Placebo Effect”, or the Flush itself might have actually worked. It was hard for me to tell, as I didn’t really know what to expect.
My research online had yielded several other Liver & Gallbladder Flushes that resembled the Dr. Schultze Flush but were a little different.
The Dr. Schulze Flush Drinks are taken in the morning. Dr. Schulze doesn’t recommend preparing for the Flush with apple juice or malic acid pills. He also didn’t mention the use of Epsom Salts, which the other Flush experts had recommended were necessary for a successful Flush.
My conclusion is that I don’t know if my Flush was successful or not. I think the five days were healthy and detoxifying but I don’t think I actually flushed out any Gallstones.
UPDATE:
I read online that fasting for four days and drinking only Apple Juice during the four days leading up to the Flush is recommended by several experts.
I found a Flush recipe online that sounded more like what a few of my friends and Aruna had told me they had done in the past. I decided to try this Flush and see if I had different results than the Dr. Schultze Flush. In my continued research, I started to realize that I would actually be able to see the Gallstones coming out in my stool if the Flush was successful. I don’t think I actually flushed any Gallstones out with the Dr. Schultze Flush.
UPDATE:
Liver & Gallbladder Flush 2
I tried the Liver & Gallbladder Flush last night. I used a recipe that I found online that was recommended by Hulda Clark, who is one of the authorities on Liver Flushing, along with Andreas Moritz. (There’s also a number of people online who think she is a total nut job…) The book from amazon.com has not come in yet. I’m looking forward to reading it to see how the information compares to what I have learned so far.
I prepared for the Flush by fasting all day. I then continued my preparation by drinking ¾ cup of water with a tablespoon of Epsom salts at 6pm. I repeated this with another ¾ cup of water and another tablespoon of Epsom salts at 8pm. I mixed a ½ cup of olive oil with a ½ cup of fresh squeezed lemon and orange juice. At 10pm I downed the olive oil and juice. This is the actual Flush drink. I went to bed shortly afterwards.
It is the day after I drank the Flush drink. I didn’t have a good night’s sleep. I felt nauseous for most of the night. I had a 3rd Epsom Salts drink at 6am and then a 4th Epsom Salts drink at 8am. I had my first Bowel Movement at around 10am.
I passed what might have been several stones. My stool has been soft and thick. Not quite diarrhea but like a thick brown sludge. The stones were in the sludge and were white in color. I’m not too sure if they were actually stones or not, or something that I ate that wasn’t digested.
I’ve had diarrhea all morning. This must be because of the Epsom Salts. I just returned from the toilet and I counted one Greenish/Black-Colored stone. I am positive this is a Gallstone. This is the first stone that looks exactly like the pictures that I have seen posted online. So, I may have passed several stones this Flush, or maybe just this one so far. I’m not too sure.
Update:
Just went again and passed four more Greenish-Colored stones. These ones were quite small. The first one I passed was the size of a large pea. These last four were about half that size.
Update:
Just had another Bowel Movement. I passed 6 more stones this time. These ones were all pretty small. Three were so small that they were like little kernels of rice. It’s easy to see the stones because the only thing I am passing now is liquid. The sludge that was coming out earlier is all gone. I am now only passing a light brown colored, almost clear, liquid and the few stones that are also coming out with the liquid. The stones are easy to see. I’m convinced that these last few were all Gallstones. They have all had the same Dark Green/Black-Color and look like nothing that I could’ve eaten. This brings the total to 11 that I believe are Gallstones for sure. I’m not sure if the others were actual stones or not.
Update:
I’m still having diarrhea and it is very painful. My anus burns after each time I go and when I wipe with toilet paper there is a little redness on the toilet paper that looks like blood. My stomach still feels upset.
I drank some apple juice a moment ago and had some kefir on granola and a bit of left over popcorn.
Update:
I just had another Bowel Movement. I’m still having diarrhea and it is still quite painful afterwards. I wonder if the Epsom salts is irritating my bowels? Maybe I took too much? I counted 3 or 4, pea sized, stones this time and close to 15 smaller stones. The total was approximately 20. This brings the overall total to 31! The Flush has been a definite success so far! We’ll see how many more come out as the day continues.
Update:
Just had another Bowel Movement. Wow! Not fun. I’m glad I am near a toilet. 6 more stones. A couple of medium to small, pea sized ones and the others were quite small. These stones were all dark green colored and black, just like the others. This brings the total to 37!
Update:
Still going. It’s 4pm. I just had another Bowel Movement and passed 6 more stones. There’s not much coming out now though. Some gas and some clear liquid but not very much. There’s no more fecal matter. This brings the total up to 43 stones!

Additional Flush - December 19th – 2008
I decided to do another Flush last night after having what I’ve learned is called a “Gallstone Attack”. I suddenly felt pain in my upper right abdomen. I was reading the Andreas Moritz book and was planning my next Flush. It wasn’t ideal circumstances because I didn’t fast all day and I hadn’t done any preparation but I figured it would at least help to stimulate my Liver and might make me feel better. I also couldn’t just sit around and wait. I needed to do something proactive.
I thought I would pass more stones today because last night when I did the Flush I could feel things moving from my Liver into my small intestine. It was really weird but I could feel what I imagined were the stones moving out of the Liver right after I did the Flush.
I haven’t passed a lot of stones today but I’ve had diarrhea all day. Unlike the last Flush, it has been dark brown and not clear this time. There’s an oily substance that is floating on the surface of the water in the toilet bowl after each B.M.
I passed two really LARGE stones. These must have been what were causing the “Gallstone Attacks”. They both were almost flat on one side and almost an inch across on the other two sides. They were definitely Gallstones. They were a greenish-dark brown color. I can’t believe how big they were! Crazy!
Hopefully, more to come.
